Each Morning is a New Adventure

Aaron's had a busy morning, filled with playing basketball and rescuing a dragonfly. He woke up unusually early (5:10am, I think. Aden and I were still half-asleep and didn't pick him up till 5:40am.) So after breakfast, here's how we spent our morning walk:

7:25 am: Can't reach the basket yet.

7:30 am: "Hey, where'd the basket go?" (Hint: it's way, waaaaay behind him.)

7:45 am: Used the calisthenics equipment on the trail.

7:50 am: Found a cool acorn.

7:55 am: Remembered to stop, smell the flowers--and touch every sprinkler.

8:10 am: Read about protecting against the West Nile Virus.

8:25 am: Rescued a wounded dragonfly from the sidewalk.

8:30am: Got a machaca burrito before heading home--oh, yeah! (A downside of living in a new-home community is that there's always construction. But the upside is that wherever there are construction workers, there's a food truck!)
