There were 1.5 candles on Buggy's birthday cupcake tonight. The right-hand shot shows him trying to blow out the candles, which flickered slightly.For Aaron's special day, we went to the L.A. Zoo. His favorite animal was the Komodo Dragon. It took four attempts to get Aaron to leave that exhibit. Ducks were a close second-favorite.
This is Buggy's imitation of the Komodo Dragon we saw sticking out his tongue. Convincing, huh?Aaron also got to pet a baby boa constrictor and brush a goat's hair.

What a lucky kid to have such caring parents. I am sure that we 'll learn more about his experience with the Komondo Dragon from him when we get together.

How cute to celebrate his 18 months! I'm also facinated by the yellow poster-paint frosting on the cupcake! Did you have a cupcake to not have him blow spit on a large cake? I remember that at this age, they put out candles more w/ spit than breath...
