Summer in April

Boy, it's been hot. Even where we live, less than 2 miles from the ocean. To beat the heat, we went early to Playa del Rey beach and the Santa Monica farmer's market.

By 10:00am, we were back at home enjoying the sweet strawberries just bought:

I made my own Taiwanese ice slush with shaved ice, sweetened condensed milk and strawberries. Doesn't it look refreshing? It was!

This sure beats yesterday's Pinkberry because I'm so frugal. Late-breaking news: they finally revealed their mystery formula to be real yogurt. *shocking*

It was Aaron's first Pinkberry and he would only eat the fruit. Good Buggy: more froyo for Daddy and me!

I'm so jealous... ugh. I think it may have reached 40 degrees today. It snowed just a couple days ago, so we still have snow on our back porch. Can you believe this??? We CAN NOT WAIT to come home!
