We saw Elizabeth Mitchell perform at the Getty Center. THE Elizabeth Mitchell. She's a really big deal to us.* We've listened to her music ever since Aaron was born.
* Hers is the only children's music (other than Jack Johnson's) that we actually enjoy.
* It was the only music that calmed down Aaron during his super-fussy car phase. He loves it too.
Aaron perked up whenever Elizabeth sang a song he knew. She had a huge gathering. Even Helen Hunt attended.The Shaws gave us our first Mitchell CD when she was featured on NPR. We've been hooked ever since.
Elizabeth's holding up two fingers because Aaron just turned two.

I am so jealous!!! No, seriously, how exciting! But, I wish we could have been there to sing and dance with you guys. Elisabeth loves Elizabeth Mitchell and all of her little songs. I haven't purchased her other cds yet, but plan to do so soon! I need to see if she will perform in the Minneapolis area anytime soon! Eh! SO FUN!!!! And pictures with her and everything! Uh!!!!

Oh yeah....Helen Hunt's beard/surfer husband is cool. During her pregnancy he would walk up and down the streets looking for paps and give us a serious talking. "I know you have the legal right to be here but if something looks like a threat no law will prevent me from reacting".
"So is Helen coming out with the baby or what?" would be my response. :P
