Aaron's gotten into the habit of taking off his clothes in bed at night.
He began by unzipping his sleeper pajama down to his naked belly. So we added a tank top underneath to keep his chest covered.
Then one morning, we found Aaron completely naked (and pee in his crib). So he went back to wearing onesies that snap at the bottom with sweaters and pants over them. For several nights, Aaron kept taking off his pants but at least he kept his shirts and sweaters on.
Recently, Aaron woke up crying at 4am. When I picked up his pant-less little body, his legs and feet were cold and he had a runny nose.
New strategy: put Aaron back into sleeper pajamas and safety-pin the zipper shut so he can't unzip them.
Problem: stores don't sell baby safety-pins anymore. Not Target. Not Babies R Us. Not drugstores. Sure they sell them online, but I needed one (just one!) by bedtime.
That night with no ideas left, I asked Aaron to keep his pants on...and he did.
And he's done so ever since.

That's such a funny story... good mommy running around trying to find solutions though. I'm glad Aaron is keeping warm at night now... unlike 2 little babies in Minnesota.
Susan - this would only work with Aaron...I can promise you that.
