A Doo Dah Day

You don't see this every day.

During our date (without Aaron) in Pasadena, we bumped into Jedi practicing for the Doo Dah Parade. (Click on photos for larger images.)

These CBS and NBC news reporters are thinking, "My colleagues are in D.C. and I'm stuck in Pasadena covering the Doo Dah Parade..." Well, at least it's 80 degrees in L.A.

Back at home, we celebrated the upcoming Inauguration at a Ben & Jerry's shop with their special January flavor, "Yes, PeCAN."

As if a two-year old needs help eating ice cream...

Then, a pit stop at the beach where Aaron wore his father's jacket and looked coincidentally like a Jedi.

Life is good. Beautiful sunset. Warm weather. And a new presidential administration.
