(Yes, this child is from my gene pool.)
Aaron's self-sufficiency is growing by leaps.
In the car ride home, he peeled his own clementine to eat.
This morning, he climbed out of his crib (unzipping the crib tent which we leave open a crack) and walked up one flight of stairs to get into our bed. This sure beats listening to him whine for us to pick him up.
I've been encouraging Aaron to leave his crib anytime to go potty without waiting for my permission. Aaron tested the boundaries last night by visiting the bathroom three times before I enforced his bedtime.
Then I had to use Supernanny's tactic of escorting him back to bed for each of the ten remaining times that he escaped (and fought me screaming) before finally staying put.
We're converting his crib into a toddler bed this weekend.

You KNOW he's potty trained when he can put his unsoiled undies on his head like that! :p
Funny, Ava had the same use for her underwear when I tried introducing it to her. She also got her head stuck in the toddler toilet seat ring that sits on top of the reg. size toilet seat. I couldn't grab my camera because she was frantic and running around the house.
