Birthday in San Diego (to be retitled, "How We Are Supporting the Southern California Economy")

Aaron's school was closed for the week so we spent a few days in San Diego celebrating his birthday.

No lines at Legoland! And there are no track rails either (unlike with Autopia), so the driving is realistic.

No track rails on the boat ride either. Here's Aaron getting our boat stuck.
Lego replica of Obama's inauguration at the White House.

We tucked his dolls under the bedsheets. Then we found Aaron had tucked himself in too!
At the SeaLife Aquarium (connected to Legoland). Can you find Aaron?

A pillow-fight party at the New Children's Museum. Where else can you throw a tire over your kid and not worry about child protective services?

Painting a car John Woo-style (double-brushes) at the New Children's Museum.

Sangria! (We bought Aaron a new Play-Doh toy to keep him occupied.)

So was this the NEW Children's Museum? JK. Love the smiling Aaron in the bubble and double brushing. I think I saw white doves fly by.
