It's Kind of Like Legoland, but without the Long Drive...and Legos

I've forgotten how fun the Santa Monica Pier is. My favorite's their ferris wheel. Since I'm not afraid of heights, they've never made me nervous--until today, when we took Aaron.
Aden's holding onto Aaron tightly because he's such a squirmy, jumpity kid and we're over 10 stories high.

Below is one of two rides that freaked out Aaron. On both occasions, the operators stopped the rides early to let him off.

Whew--something safe: skeeball!

It's hard to see them, but I'm getting chaffeured by Aaron and a little girl who didn't want to ride alone.

Aaron rode the bumper cars 4 times until we set a limit.
Last time on the ferris wheel before dinner.

Wow, I didn't know an adult could fit on the kiddie ride. I'm referring to the one that Aden is on. Can't remember the name of the ride. I put Ava on the same ride and she wasn't too keen on the ride either. Except I was too scared that we wouldn't fit in the seat so I didn't attempt. ;-)

How fun! I've always wanted to go on the Ferris Wheel at the Pier.

Family fun...it's great to see and with such great photos too! Aaron's interests and fear all come together in the ferris wheel photos.
