Smithsonian National Zoo
We only got as far as the Reptile House. Aaron was more interested in the gift shop, lunch and collecting sticks, leaves and rocks.

The National Monuments
Saturday, October 10
Morning with Aaron's D.C. Cousins at National History Museum. There, we stumbled upon the finals of the Thelonius Monk Institute Jazz Competition and the kids got to see them jam in a private session.
Evening at Mara and Rick's Wedding BBQ
Sunday, October 11Brunch at Mara and Rick's before boarding the plane back to L.A.
